About the Event

The event will start at 5:00pm in Wellington with drinks and nibbles, with the presentation starting at 5:30pm.

Electronic Locks There’s an enormous range of electronic locks available for wired access control systems, with options for almost every door type and at every price point. I’ll discuss the pros and cons of the various models and their ideal applications, and hopefully demystify this key subject.

Credential Technologies Similar to locks, there are many generations of access card technologies available to buy today, including legacy and obsolete types. I’ll focus on the relative security of the various NXP MIFARE generations including Classic, Plus and DESFire. We’ll also have a look at certificate-based mobile credentials.

Following the presentation Kyle will be available to take your questions.
