The Electrical Engineering Group aims to provide monthly professional development opportunities. Here is what is coming up. If you have an idea for a presentation or would like to deliver one to the EEG membership, let us know.

In addition to our diverse monthly presentations we have two annual events that we repeat each year, these being:

  • A Day in the life of an Electrical Engineer: This event gives the opportunity to a number of recently employed electrical engineers to present on what a typical day looks like for them. This event is focused on attracting undergraduate electrical engineers into the industry as well as providing an overview of potential electrical engineering career paths for those considering a career in electrical engineering.

  • Electrical Chartership Q &A panel: This event is targeted electrical engineers that are either considering becoming chartered or in the process of becoming chartered.  The format is that a panel of electrical chartership assessors answer a number of common questions regarding the chartership process followed by an open floor Q&A session where you can ask your questions.
